The source code for our class library is made available under the jabber open source licence.
This implementation of the File Transfer Protocol does not call for compiling
PHP with the --enable-ftp option. Thus it's ideal for shared hosting enviorenments.
Even if you are using this software on your own servers you may find that our php class
easier to use and customize than the traditional PHP FTP module.
Another advantage of the PHP FTP client is that connections can be channeled through HTTPS connections for enhanced security.
