of the file manager which you can freely redistribute to your client.
The desktop edition, also called the stand alone version of Rad File is the perfect counter part of the applet. You may place a copy of this desktop client on your website for free download by users of your website. Each user can then install it on his or her own. There after they can directly upload and download files from your site directly without having to go through the web interface.
The desktop edition is nearly identical to the file manager applet except for the fact
that the applet runs in the context of your browser where as the stand alone version is
not dependent on the browser.
