The Rad File, being a web file manager consists of two main components; a web application and an applet. The web application is available as a PHP edition and a Java edition. The choice of which edition to download is entire upto you, they have identical functionality. However the java edition can only be used with a Postgresql database server while the web application written in PHP can be used alongside both Postgresql and Mysql databases.

Both forms of the web application can be configured with the same set of parameters. However they are presented as separate documents since the way the parameters should be entered differs for the two systems.

System Requirements
The client applet only needs a java powered browser, the web application requirements depend on which edition you download.
